Fauna survey, inventory and distribution mapping is another of our services which we have provided in a wide range of habitats throughout New Zealand, for various clients including corporate businesses, Department of Conservation, and local bodies.

A recently completed assessment of streams water quality and fish diversity for a prominent forestry company in the Coromandel Ecological Region.
|•||Bat species presence and distribution survey
Both long-tailed and short tailed bat presence and distribution was surveyed in four Central North Island forests during summer months for local forestry companies.
|•||Lizard species presence and distribution survey
Skinks and geckos were surveyed in two Central North Island forests for extended time periods, for local forestry companies.
Staff are very experienced in an extensive range of threatened species survey work including kiwi survey using call identification, trained tracking dogs, and radio telemetry tracking. Blue duck surveys including catching, colour banding and blood sampling. Freshwater fish surveys, bat surveys, frog surveys and lizard identification.
